Walgreens - First Trip Ever!!

Yes, it's true... I play the CVS & Rite-Aid drugstore game, but since we don't have a Walgreens in Ventura, I stay away... but I couldn't pass up the toilet paper deal this week!!  We can never have enough toilet paper!!

Product Value:  $46.96... I didn't have any Walgreens Register Rewards to "roll" into this purchase, so after MQ's & Walgreens coupons my OOP was approx. $15, and I still have a $4 RR to use on a future trip!!  I'm happy with $11 net total... because even if I didn't have any of the other stuff, that would make each toilet paper package $3.67 each!

Rite-Aid Milk Run

I forgot to grab milk when I was at Ralphs on Saturday, so I decided to go into Rite-Aid and get my milk and see if they had more Revlon Beauty Tools & Gillette Fision ProGlide Razors to fulfill my offer limits.

• Milk $3.09
• (6) different Revlon Beauty Tools totaling $7.92 (on sale 40% off)
• (2) Red Vines Licorice on sale for $1.50 ea. = $3.00
• Trident Layers Gum $1 - I needed 99¢ more to be able to use one of my +UP rewards, since they didn't have any Gillette Fusion ProGlide and it messed up my scenario

Total: $15.01

I used:

• Save $3 off $15 Rite-Aid coupon for completing a survey from the bottom of a previous receipt
• $8 in +UP rewards that I had earned previously

I earned:  (2) $1 +UP rewards for each Red Vines purchase & (3) $4 +UP rewards for the Revlon Beauty Tools.  The Revlon Beauty Tools has a limit of 4 deals... For each deal, you have to buy (2) Revlon Beauty Tools and you earn a $4 +UP reward!!  I had gotten (2) items last week, and I got the other 6 during this visit to complete my limit.

= $1.99 MM on this shopping trip!!  I love FREE MILK!!

CVS Lunch Run

Busy day for me today, so I had to do a quick run into CVS.  I wanted to "roll" my $7.99 ECB that I earned on a prior visit, so I added in the spice drops that were on clearance for .75

I ended up with:

• (2) Colgate Max Toothpaste on sale for $2.77 this week, earning $2.77 ECB's back (Limit 2) and I also used a $1 MQ from ALL YOU magazine & .75 MQ = $1.75 MM after Q's & ECB's
• Bic Soleil Shimmer Razor on sale for $6.99, I used $3 MQ & also earned $3 ECB's for buying this (Limit 1) = 99¢
• Spice Drops, normally $1.50, on clearance for 75¢.  I was going to be about 50¢ short in order to "roll" my ECB, so I added these yummies in!!

My OOP was 54¢ + tax after I used my $7.99 ECB's and I earned  $8.54 in additional ECB's, so my profit on this trip was 1¢...  LOVE FREEBIES!!

I ran into Target mainly hoping they'd have the Moms Best Oatmeal or Kashi cereal cups, but they didn't.. so I got some other goodies!!

After Ashley's CHI TURBO went out a few months ago, I got another CHI TURBO on eBay.  Even though everything I read & compare tells me it's a real CHI TURBO, it doesn't work as well as the one she had prior and I hate it!!  I read that some of the CHI production moved and the products aren't being made the same... so on that note, THIS DEAL was brought to my attention a few days ago, and it's EXACTLY the type of deal I've been savings my SWAGBUCKS for!!  I scored a retail value $299 hair straightener for FREE!!  I've been savings my SWAGBUCKS and redeeming them for $5 Amazon credit every time I hit 450 SWAGBUCKS in my account.  SWAGBUCKS is a fun search engine website.  I usually average 450 SWAGBUCKS a month by searching & playing games.  Can't wait to get my new hair straightener from Amazon.  I hope it works as well as the 19 out of 22 positive reviewers say!!
