This was also from my shopping trip on Monday.

I used (2) $1 off any Honest Tea that I got from Recyclebank, then I had a B1G1F Honest Tea IPQ, and I had a B1G1F Powerade IPQ.  This deal, was buy 5 of these drinks, get $2 ECB.

Bic Soleil Razor on sale for $6.99 with a $3 ECB.  I used a $3 MQ = 99¢

Pantene on sale 2 for $6.97, get a $2 ECB when you buy 2.  I used a $2 & $1 MQ = 2 for $1.97

Snickers on sale 50¢ ea.  Buy 2, get $1 ECB = FREE

Reeses's candies on sale for $2.50 ea.  Buy $10 in participating candies, get a $3 ECB back.  I used (2) $2 off 2 Hershey's pouches MQ's & (1) Save $2 off Hershey pouch CVS Q = $1 for all 4 pouches.

Oral-B Toothbrush on sale for $1.99, earn a $1 ECB, and I had a $1 MQ = FREE

...and Milk I ran and added in when I realized I needed filler for my coupons & ECB's...

I paid 46¢ plus tax OOP for all of this...I used $15 in ECB's & earned $12 back... so it really cost me about $3.46 with the ECB loss

CVS Trip 5/23 - $41.90 for FREE

I wanted to go to CVS today to get the Revlon nail polishes in case they ran out!!

The first thing I do is walk to the CVS Red Magic Coupon Machine... we call it that because we are never sure what's going to come out of it!  LOL It's also a price scanner too!!  I scanned my CVS card one time, and out popped a $5 Extra Care Buck (ECB)!!  Whoo Hoo!  It said I had earned this $5 ECB for buying $50 in beauty products (LOL, as if!)... so I scanned my card again and more coupons came out: "FREE CVS Green Tag",  "Save $1 off Crystal Light" & "Save $1 of Indiana Popcorn".  All of the coupons that come out of this machine are CVS coupons and they CAN be combined with a manufacturer's coupon, if there is a matching one out there.  I scanned my card again, and it told me "NO MORE COUPONS - CHECK BACK TOMORROW".  Always scan your CVS card until it tells you "NO MORE COUPONS".  Sometimes it'll keep spitting out coupons and you never know what you would be missing!!  That $5 ECB helped me be able to get more during this CVS shopping trip.

The only thing I knew I wanted was the Revlon Nail Polish, which are producing a $4 ECB for each $4.99 nail polish (Limit 6 deals).  Some people were reporting finding some nail polishes for $3.99 that were working, but I didn't find any of those.  But while I was using the red price scanner to check the different colors to see if any were ringing up $3.99, I ran across a color that was ringing up $1.45!!  Usually clearance items do not produce ECB's, but I wanted to try anyway.  I had manufacturer coupons to help eat the cost if they didn't produce ECB's.
Then while I was there I noticed the Irish Spring & Soft Soap Body Washes were on sale for $3 each and earn a $5 ECB when you buy (WYB) 2.. that means even without coupons, they  are 50¢ each!!  The Irish Spring mens deodorant are also under this same deal.  I didn't have any coupons for the body wash or Irish Spring deodorant but the deal was too good to pass up, especially since I had the unexpected $5 ECB and I had a Save $5 off $20 expired CVS coupon they let me use.  I wanted to make sure I got to $20!!  It's a limit of ONE deal, so I decided to get the Soft Soap Body Washes to save for my son's teachers holiday gift bags.  The Stride gum is on sale for 99¢, and this week there is a ECB deal to Buy 1 Stride Gum or Trident Vitality Gum, get 99¢ ECB back... so FREE!!  I also used a Stride Gum Save $1 off 2 and ended up with both for FREE!!

You can see my CVS Green Bag Tag attached to the shopping bag I use when I shop at CVS.  Every 4th time my CVS Green Bag Tag is scanned (limit 1 scan per day), I earn a $1 ECB!!  So basically they are crediting me 25¢ every time I use my own bag!!  Sounds great to me!!  Since I hit a "4th" time on this shopping trip, I got that extra $1 ECB!!  It looks like this week when you scan your CVS card at the Magic Coupon Machine, you will receive your own coupon for a FREE CVS Green Bag Tag.  You can attach it to any reusable shopping bag & make sure they scan it each time you shop at CVS!!  Happy Shopping!!

CVS: Save $5 off $20 or $3 off ANY Diaper Package

HURRY QUICK!!  I suggest printing this NOW because you never know when these coupons will get pulled.  Save $5 off a $20 purchase or save $3 off any package of diapers!!  Great coupons, but they expire 5/7/11!!  The diaper coupon is a CVS store coupon, so you can combine it with a manufacturer's coupon.  There are some $2 & $3 off Huggies coupons out there, so that could make $5 or $6 off ONE package of diapers!  Limit one of each coupon per customer.

CVS Lunch Run

Busy day for me today, so I had to do a quick run into CVS.  I wanted to "roll" my $7.99 ECB that I earned on a prior visit, so I added in the spice drops that were on clearance for .75

I ended up with:

• (2) Colgate Max Toothpaste on sale for $2.77 this week, earning $2.77 ECB's back (Limit 2) and I also used a $1 MQ from ALL YOU magazine & .75 MQ = $1.75 MM after Q's & ECB's
• Bic Soleil Shimmer Razor on sale for $6.99, I used $3 MQ & also earned $3 ECB's for buying this (Limit 1) = 99¢
• Spice Drops, normally $1.50, on clearance for 75¢.  I was going to be about 50¢ short in order to "roll" my ECB, so I added these yummies in!!

My OOP was 54¢ + tax after I used my $7.99 ECB's and I earned  $8.54 in additional ECB's, so my profit on this trip was 1¢...  LOVE FREEBIES!!

Quick Trip to CVS

A Friday on the Town

My son wasn't in school today & I took the day off work.  After relaxing all morning, it was time for his doctor appt, so we finally made it out on the town.  I also wanted to go see if The Disney Store had any of the reusable shopping bags left.  All you had to do was bring in 5 plastic shopping bags and you'd get a free reusable shopping bag!  Cool!  Since I wanted to go back out to CVS & a second trip to Target, we made it a day.

Then we went to The Disney Store to see if they had any reusable bags left - THEY DID!!  Yippee!!

Then for our final trip to Target for some duplicates of my purchases last night.  Target printable coupons state "Limit One Per Transaction".. so sometimes I make multiple trips.  But since I'm organized from Trip #1, going back again is usually not a problem.  I even got the same cashier - super coupon friendly!!  I think his name is Josh.
Target - Saved $13.16, Spent $0.88 + tax
I got:

• (3) Scotch Tape - $1.29, used (3) $1 IPQ's (We can never have enough tape here!!)

• (1) Orbit Gum - .99, used .75 TQ (For my son's good behavior.. I can handle .24 gum!)

So, after our running around, we got $62+ in products (including lunch) and only spent $4.57+tax, plus I have $1 ECB to use at CVS on my next visit!!

I did manage to get in on the 12/21 CVS deals and was able to roll $160+ on ECB's!! Yippee!! I can relax a bit now. I was able to add to them too. I have approx. $40 more in ECB's than I had 4 weeks ago =) Love that!! I'm not sure how since I got that camera at the Black Friday sales, and I've been getting milk, and I even treated myself and got a foot soak tub too!! Love it when I get stuff for free and still come out ahead!!

CVS Savings... Will I Hit $10,000??

Here we are December 15th... 16 more days until the end of 2008!! I can't even tell you when I started CVSing.... I think it was in the summer of 2007, and I've been addicted ever since. I know WAY too much about CVS!! LOL I did a trip today and I noticed on the receipt "Year to Date Savings 9561.79" - Over Nine Thousand Dollars Worth Of Products!! Wowza!! Using ECB's, I'm sure my OOP spending hasn't been over $200 for the entire year!! I'm wondering, with 16 days left of 2008, can I hit $10,000?? I know next week's deals (12/21) is going to add another $250 or so to the total saved. I'll keep you posted!!
