All this stuff would have totaled approx. $46 without sales & coupons!! Crazy!! I used the $4.49 in Register Rewards & had to pay $9.29 OOP (including tax) and I still have $8 in Register Rewards to spend... so the net spent on these 2 transactions was... drumroll... $5.78!! Yay!!
I can't say that this went off without a hitch and thank goodness I looked at my receipt & Register Rewards to make sure I got everything I was expecting, because the Lysol $3RR didn't print out and I had to have the manager fix it. Let me tell you... after only 3 visits to this Walgreens store, Freddy & I are getting tight!! LOL Thank goodness he's very helpful. Out of all the drugstores that I shop at for deals, I have to say that Walgreens is not my favorite. Right now, I'd have to rank them: Rite-Aid, CVS, then Walgreens. But since the Register Rewards expire every 2 weeks, I can make it out there twice a month.

Walgreen's - $41.93 for FREE
Besides the fact that I couldn't find anything in the store and it was sooo hot in there.... I did get some goodies for free!!
They didn't have Ritz Crackerfuls in stock for that deal, but I heard the regular Ritz, Triscuits & Wheathins were producing the $2 Register Rewards instead.
I got:
(2) Ritz Crackers, on sale for $2 each. I used a $1 off 2 IPQ, and earned a $2 RR = 50¢ ea.
(6) Right Guard deodorants, on sale B1G1F. I used B1G1F coupons, so all 6 FREE!! The B1G1F sale price didn't come off at the register, and I realized when I got to the car and looked at the receipt, so I had to go back in for the refund. Because I used RR that I had earned prior to "pay" for this entire transaction, I ended up getting a cash refund.
(1) Goody's Powder 6pk, on sale for $1.50, I earned a $1.50 RR = FREE
(1) Icy Hot Naturals .5 oz., on sale for 99¢, I used a $1 coupon that they adjusted down to 99¢, and I also earned a 99¢ RR = 99¢ overage!!
(2) Ecotrin, on sale for 99¢ with In-Ad coupon. I used (2) $1.50 MQ's = 51¢ overage on each one
(1) Mountain Dew soda. No coupon, no sale... but my son was thirsty from that awful shopping trip & it was so hot in there, I bought it for him for being such a sport!! Cost: $2
The items I didn't get completely free, I used Register Rewards that I had earned on previously visits. After getting my refund from the Right Guard deodorants not coming off, I ended up getting it all for FREE.

Drugstore Matchup Links
As I mentioned before, I'm not going to do weekly store match-ups, because they are very time consuming to do when you can find the match-ups in so many other places. Here's a link to my favorites this week:
Rite-Aid (CA Started 5/13) - www.iheartriteaid.com
CVS (5/15) - www.myfrugaladventures.com or www.keepingcents.com

I split the above shopping trip into 3 transactions so I could "roll" my RR from last time into the first transaction, then I "rolled" that RR into the second transaction, then that RR into the third transaction. It didn't take very long and the cashier was very helpful. Since I was able to "roll" my RR into each transaction, my out of pocket (OOP) ended up being $7.37 + tax for $44.45 worth of stuff, and I still have a $4 RR to use next time!! I love cheap toilet paper & other freebies!!

Walgreens - First Trip Ever!!
Yes, it's true... I play the CVS & Rite-Aid drugstore game, but since we don't have a Walgreens in Ventura, I stay away... but I couldn't pass up the toilet paper deal this week!! We can never have enough toilet paper!!
Product Value: $46.96... I didn't have any Walgreens Register Rewards to "roll" into this purchase, so after MQ's & Walgreens coupons my OOP was approx. $15, and I still have a $4 RR to use on a future trip!! I'm happy with $11 net total... because even if I didn't have any of the other stuff, that would make each toilet paper package $3.67 each!
